The Fireworks project is perfect for Memorial Day, Independence Day and Veteran's Day with its patriotic colors, but it absolutely could be displayed and used all year round. Fits the size requirements for Quilts of Valor! The Fireworks Block of the month incorporates classic quilt blocks that are a great project to enhance confident beginner skills and entice experienced quilters as well. Key elements such as half- and quarter-square triangles can be made easily with these specialty rulers that are helpful but not required; the Block-Loc Ruler and the Tucker Trimmer 1. Each month for 7 months you'll receive the pattern by True Blue Quilts and all the batiks needed for that section of the quilt from the Jubilee collection by Jerry Khiev for Island Batiks. Finished size is 66" x 90". Backing is available separately, 6 yards of a 44" wide is recommended. We also offer separatley an extra fabric pack that includes 8 batik fat quarters that match back to the Jubilee collection in case any miscuts should happen along the way.
