In shades of blue, purple and green batiks, this striking quilt design by Mary B. Hayes looks just like a classic Hunter's Star block, but, it is much easier to make because Thangles eliminates the need to do complicated Y seams. All you do is make half square triangles with Thangles and piece the simple block. When the blocks are put together, the Hunter's Star is revealed. Kit includes pattern with instructions and all the Thangles needed to make a queen sized quilt plus all the fabrics needed for the top and binding from the Lava Solids Batik collection from Anthology. Finished size is queen, 80" x 96". Backing available separately, 7-1/2 x 44" wide or 2 1/2 yards of 108" wide needed. Intermediate.
