So many fun and sweet memories come out of baking cookies with your loved ones! This applique quilt was designed by Terri Vanden Bosch and was inspired by her Grandma's gingersnap cookies. Terri wanted to create something she could hand down to her granddaughter. Techniques include half square triangles, flying geese, square on point and raw edge applique. The Gingersnap Recollections Kit includes the full pattern set broken out into 12 months (BONUS - each month includes a favorite holiday cookie recipe!) and all the batik fabrics needed for the top and binding. Fabrics featured are from the Bright Tidings collection by Jerry Khiev for Island Batiks. Finished project size is queen, 96" x 96" and has a confident beginner skill level. Backing is available separately, 10 yards of a 44" wide is recommended.
